Starting To Play
There are so many things to learn that it can be baffling to know how to begin learning guitar. When people start teaching themselves they usually begin with chords. For many people changing chords and rearranging all the fingers simultaneously is extremely difficult. It's best to start with simple melodies and learn to control the fingers one at a time.
Music Theory
If you want to start to understand how music is made I can teach you about scales, keys, key signatures and chord construction. It's not as complex as some people think and I can take you through these topics in an order that reveals how logical it is.
Hitting A Plateau
I often take on players who have realised that after years of playing they aren't as good as they expected to be. The cause is always a combination of inefficient technique and an unclear idea of how to practise effectively.
I will help you to improve both these areas.
